this is my first time hiking to the Y. growing up with granola parents this is actually very surprising :)

So. I got bored of my blog name, i couldn't think of anything else.  lol.

plus the blog has become more of my likings. and random-me things, with fruits family updates here and there.

But I remember loving this song the first time i heard it. 

i wanted "Mrs Robinson" to be my theme song, and when people heard it, i wanted them to think "paige" :) i had forgotten this for awhile and so happy i rediscovered it this week.

Mother's Day

since we can spend mother's day together sunday because of work and blakes gaming that night

we celebrated it today :D we had good wood which is one of our favorites and then blake bought me my present. 

i have the best boyfriend EVER.

these were my present, i've been wanting them forever. especially the mineral powder :)

i looove being River's momma, she is the best thing to ever happen to me. 

every day i spend with her she changes, she grows and becomes more of an individual.

and you gotta love her new found angry face. 

2 months without caffeine today :D

but i am DYING for a non fat white chocolate mocha.....

I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT...

EXTENTIONS..... i want them so bad right now.

i'm so tired of my hair, it has not been long since i was 11 (naturally i mean) 

i've had short short hair or shoulder length hair for too long now!

I'm applying everywhere , so i can get them (and a newer car) 

now i just don't know if i want glue or beads....beads are better but more expensive....

Blakes 22nd Birthday.

It started out as a surprise breakfast to Kneaders for the best french toast we've ever eaten.

i don't even like french toast, but this stuff is much much more then your average eggy toast-ness.

Blake loved it, he didn't want to be full. lol.

in the middle of the day he had to study and take his biology final which was really lame!

oh well i guess....

after we went mini golfing, which is pretty much his favorite "friend/date" activity (besides video games)

he beat me as usual, blakes a golfing pro. :) 

later we had pizza hut and cake which i got a few pictures of, we thought it would be awesome to see how river reacted. (her birthday is next month on the 26th)

i love that blake is older then me, i always wanted a guy who was at least a little bit older.

first fat free recipe attempt.

So Blake and I are on a health kick. (stated in previous posts) 

Blake's birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to try to make something fat free so we wouldn't feel bad eating it. Blake loves lemon anything and we both LOVE cheesecake,  I found a fat free lemon cheesecake recipe.. 

I'm a big cheesecake baker so this was an exciting project.

While it tastes AMAZING,

the fat free cream cheese doesn't stick together well, it just makes a weird cottage cheese texture.

You want to eat more but the feeling in your mouth is questionable.

next time the plan is just to do it with all regular things NOT fat free it will be so much better. 

(walmart ended up having one tiny little lemon....I was disappointed. but you only use it for lemon zest so i bought one lemon and two limes instead. thats why the lemon curd is green its lemon/lime lol.)

 

i just bought a little red velvet cake to eat tomorrow instead... >_>

11 MONTHS.

only one more month until our baby is a year old. 

River has taken her first steps this month, her longest walk so far has been 6 steps from

our entertainment center to me on the couch.

she is saying all sorts of words now, like thank you, grandpa, nana, and no more.

she is very mischievous, she gets into everything and tests you when you tell her NO! 

she loves being outdoors

she is getting all four top teeth at the same time the front two are poking out.

and she ALWAYS dances, it gets better as she gets older, now she sticks out her bum and wiggles it. 

i just hope she can walk all the way by the time her birthday comes :D

dirty dancing :)

Dirty Dancing is my summer movie! every time summer comes around i crave watching it! and i'll watch it at least twice a week if i have it at my house (my mom owns it, its her favorite movie and it rubbed off on me) where superstar is over all my favorite, Dirty Dancing is my FAVORITE Romantic/chick flick.
my favorite genre movies are the 80's brat pack movies, even they will bring the summer feeling when i watch them. i don't know what correlation they have with summer but they bring back the best memory's :D

the new plan.....

i was so excited about going to the MATC to get a certificate for cosmetology, but when we went there met the students, teachers and a tour through the classrooms...i got the worst feeling...

i'm very much a ANTI-girl hater. i think girls should not judge another because she is prettier or has nicer things its a sheer sign of insecurity. all girls are different some may be prettier, some maybe nicer, and some more intelligent, but through it all we are equals. what one girl lacks another girl has and vice versus. Its STUPID to be jealous of anyone especially not HATE them for it! you can tell ALL the girls there are staring you down, judging and glaring it was the worst....

I do NOT think i could handle the negative vibes i get from all the students there.....

(when the teacher gives you those vibes too its even worse)

plus its like a job in the sense that if you can't miss any classes or you have to PAY them for it.....I'd rather just get a job and earn something. plus cosmetology wasn't my first choice it was just a back up plan. so i think I'll just get a simple part time job right now and get us a new car which is VERY MUCH needed!! I'm kinda bummed about it turning out this way but its not the end of the world. I'll just go down a different road and see where that takes me, luckily i have an amazing guy who supports me :D

besides that we got our first family photos done by my old friend Kate Penelley Peterson. they are amazing and she is my favorite local photographer so it made it even better!! I'm not going to put any up in a post until i get our CD from her. hopefully there are lots of good ones!!

being outside is rivers favorite let alone grandpa going with out her, she just WALKED right after him.

To bad I was in the shower and Blake was asleep at home, only grandpa, grandma and aunt Jessie were there to see it. :/

luckily it gave her the confidence to keep going now she thinks she can walk any where.

OH! and this is my favorite....this is what happens when mom's friend is over to work out and you hate having to watch....bored much?.

Vision board.

         A project Trisha and I have started this spring/summer, was a new us. inside and out. we get together four times a week, (even if its only for an hour) to work out. We started this for Trisha's Backyard Boxing League Match so she could be ready and in shape for it in May. 

But we don't want to just be better physically but mentally and emotionally too, so we can be happier more positive people. 

A vision board is one of our projects, its one of the examples in "the secret" we feel will work for us best. With a vision board you put lots of pictures of all the things you want. with the law of attraction and positive energy these things come to you. This probably sounds silly for most, but i know its true for me. 

all through senior year i wanted blake SOO badly and i got him.

We wanted and TRIED for a baby girl, especially one with golden hair and blue eyes. we got her!

we wanted a cheap nice HOUSE to live in and our amazing place fell into our laps without even looking.

anything i've really ever wanted i've got :) and not because i'm spoiled (my family has never been very well off) but because i've set my mind to it with positive energy. 

so today i want to put a few of my vision board wants here cause i'm very excited to start this.

now i'll never forget, Me and Trisha bought our tickets for backstreet boys!! i'm so extremely excited! 

A looonggg week!

            So its been a very very very long week. We had our weekly movie night, Trisha, Whitney and I. We watched "The Orphanage" the first scary movie i've seen since "One missed call" fortunately, it wasn't very scary just really weird. (we had to watch it in subtitles)

            On Saturday it was Kim and Haydns wedding :D It was such a cute wedding. I knew Kim all through 7th-12th grade and lovvve her, she is so cute and friendly. While Haydn i knew OF and maybe said hi to once or twice but he is SOO sweet. I'm so happy for both of them they are the cutest couple. it just makes it so much harder to wait for me and Blake's wedding..... I asked Kim if I could take a couple pictures a couple days before. (just to show you how cute there wedding cake was) 

Eariler before the wedding i had gotten a call from Megan, a girl I had grown up with. She had hired two different photographers but they both bailed on her and needed one asap. So I agreed. I was nervous to say the least. They were one of the nicest family's I've ever met and hilarious to be around. It was a very good experience and the first one I've ever gotten paid for :) woot!

Even though this was such a good experience and i had ALOT of fun doing this. I came to the conclusion this week that I'm not cut out for this professionally. I really love photography but I really put so much stress on myself to make it perfect that i don't have the confidence to do very much. So I think I'll stick to single portraits and babies, and just for fun. I feel like by doing this professionally I will squish out all the passion and enjoyment i have in my hobby. 

But as one idea for my profession fades, I got the good news that MATC hair school is really cheap. 

Its obviously not my first choice but its a better job then working retail at minimum wage. After, doing My FASFA sheet, it told me that i qualify for a Pell grant for 5500 dollars. Enough to pay for the hair school. Which is super nice and i could get it done in a couple months :D I'm looking into this now hopefully it all works out!!

My newest celebrity crush....

SO everyone knows i'm very much in love with Jared Padalecki. 

EVEN to the point where its creepy and sad.

But after watching buffy, i've REALLY learned to love David Boreanaz.

its not the same love but its close....haha. 

Definition:

I've been thinking about all the things that shape a person, everything, every person and every place changes you. everyone is a wannabe in some way or another because the truth is....NOTHING is original, its all inspired by something else.

(people can deny this all they want but its the truth and its perfectly fine :D)

i've been thinking of all my influences and wanted to write them down. things that have stuck with me for years and years.

• Jennifer Aniston. I remember wanting to be just like her since the 3rd grade (when i straight out asked the hair dresser for the "Rachel" haircut) i even tried to dress like her the last three years of elementary. Her hair, her face, and her body inspire me to WANT to look that way. she is probably the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.

 

• Hayley Williams. singer of paramore. my second favorite band. She is my fashion icon. ever since i saw her in the 12th grade I've been drueling and envying her style. everything about her style SCREAMS my taste. 

• My Chemical Romance. basically listening to them through high school was like having a soundtrack to my thoughts. every story I've ever thought of, or image in my mind was explained or inspired by them. From my love of cowboys, gunfights, to the romantic idea of dying in a storm of bullets. it told so much about me.

• My cousin Anthony, (his name is the tattoo on my wrist) he was my hero, he introduced me to EVERYTHING that made me who i am today. he was the person to show me Blink 182 in the 5th grade. He made me LOVE video games by introducing me to my favorite game Zelda: ocarina of time. He got me into skateboarding and snowboarding, Yoyo's and magic cards. he was the closest thing to a brother I've ever had. when he died, was the worst feeling I've ever felt. 

• Eyes Wide Shut by Bless the Fall. after a very big depressing breakup of my high school sweetheart, this song inspired me to find a boy who actually felt this way about me. It was my reason to be so picky about boys and my feelings. its the reason i have the type of husband i do now.

• Superstar. This is my all time favorite movie. it changed my personality forever the first time i saw it. if you ever get or gotten to see me when i'm comfortable around the people i'm with, this movie explains why i'm so obnoxious, hyper, crude and perverted. superstar is my sense of humor in a nutshell. 

• probably the most obvious. Supernatural. its my favorite thing in the whole world. if you have ever came to my house this is what i was probably watching. its ALWAYS on. its not just because it has my dream man Jared Padalecki (another reason i was so attracted to Blake, he looks so much like Jared Padalecki to me) but also, because its FILLED with paranormal story's and demonology. (that is what i wish i could major in: paranormal studies) It is also the life i seriously wish i could live. 

     There is probably a thousand more then this, but these are the ones that stick out the most in my mind and are the most important to who i am today.

(this is probably a long winded blog but i love knowing all the things that go into a person :) )

Every day it grows....

           I seem to grow more and more attached to Blake everyday. i've been his longest relationship for a couple months now, and he will be my longest in a couple weeks....we've never been more in love then we are right now.
           We've had our ups and downs, especially in our last apartment. but it has just brought us closer. we know exactly how the other is feeling just by looking at them. (my favorite stage of a long relationship, where you know them inside and out. from there toes to each hair on there head)  I can't help but think about getting married everyday. i just can't wait. :D

Blake is the most hilarious person i've ever met, he has almost the same crude sense of humor i do 

and i love that about him :) i love that he doesn't care about any of the small stuff. just the things that matter. He is the first boy who has ever let me cry to them (who didn't expect something in return) when we argue, he refuses to raise his voice or temper. i love his patience, he knows i'll be over it in about 20 minutes. he has yet to be angry with me, its so nice to have someone like him.

we started out being complete opposites and now we are each others second half.

I love that we knew we were going to have a family and be together from the start. This is just the beginning for us and i can't explain how excited i am to have more babies and finally get married to Blake Christopher Fruits. The sweetest boy i've ever met.

23 things to do before i'm 23.

1. Road trip to California with Blake.

2. Camping at least once.

3. Read all of the Little House on the Prairie books (i've owned the whole series since i was 12 and haven't gotten to them yet)

4. buy a new car.

5. Rock Climb with my dad again. (its been 10 years!!)

6. Go to Moab with Blake.

7. Get my Peacock back piece done.

8. see All American Rejects live. 

9. bike ride the whole provo trail.

10. get my hair down to the middle of my back.

11. Buy a nice bed frame.

12. go on a train ride. (doesn't matter where)

13. make Blake go with me to the ballet in Salt Lake.

14.  Lose 15 lbs.

15.  win all the trophies in Little Big planet.

16. get a level 80 in World of Warcraft. (even if i do cheat and use my death knight)

17. get the courage and ride Wicked at Lagoon.

18. get at least a year of school done.

19. go to Arizona with Blake, Trisha, and Steven.

20. Take river to a mommy daughter swimming class.

21. run a Marathon.

22. take Blake to La Caille, and make him eat escargot with me.

23.  get the courage to go to a haunted house OTHER then the haunted forest lol.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. 

around 7:00pm, in our living room.

river was playing with her daddy in the mirror.

she has known what baby, kisses and no means for a couple weeks now.

but blake was insistent on river saying baby, so for a about an hour he said

"say baby" over and over, river always mimic's what we say by sounds 

like peek a boo is "eng eng Ooo" and until yesterday baby was a hum that sounded like "Aaa-eee" 

her first attempts slowly evolved from "baay bah" to "baby" everytime she tried to say it! it was so cute! 

we screamed and clapped, we scared the crap out of her haha. 

yay for baby's talking!

month at a time.

This month i quit caffiene. and will not be looking back.

Month of April is dedicated to quiting ben and jerry's, and basically ANY SWEETS.

(i'm not a big sweet person any way, just ice cream occasionally)

i'm pretty good at working out. but i'm going to make sure i do it at least 4-5 times a week.

(blake is so good at lifting weights every other day for 2 hours, i admire him for it)

i'm going to keep my progress posted, for my own sake. so i can see the difference.

I really don't like being self conscious in the summer, and spring reminds me of how bad

it can get. :/

here we come april :D

COLOR FESTIVAL.

every time the festival of colors came around there seemed to be a reason i couldn't go.

not this year though! it was the best time i've had in so long too :) 

this is before the colors. 

we walked around saw the little stands and the dancing in the temple. there was so many people we could hardly get around. after we bought our color dust. we went to the very middle of the crowd, and found some girls we had known in highschool. phoebe and danny.

we sat there for an hour decorating each other, because phoebe spent a hundred dollars on colors. thats 6000g of color dust haha. we had a little to spare. 

this year was the biggest turn out they ever had, we couldn't miss the chance to take this picture.

during there dancing and singing tons of people danced half nakie, and screamed it reminded me of being at woodstock haha. when it hit 1:00pm they counted down from twenty, lit the witch (a straw scary witch with a mask) on fire. thats when the colors were every where. i took orange straight in the eyes the first second they started. it was so dusty we couldn't breath and couldn't see, LITERALLY.

it was worth every second of purple boogers and orange eye crustys. especially after a girl who was on top of her boyfriends shoulders (with her thong hanging out) got pink dust straight down the crack before it started....HAHAHAHA.

Month Ten.

River is ten months today! i can't believe there is only 2 months until she is a year!

she can stand by herself if she doesn't know you let go, her favorite food is zucchini and cheddar puffs.(she hates anything with fruit or anything thats sweet)

she loves don't fear the reaper- by blue oytser cult and monsters inc. I can't wait to find out more about her as she gets older. :)

BROM.

Today me and blake went to a Art lecture together at UVU, i was so happy to be apart of something blake loves so much. (plus i thought it was a very rare opportunity) Brom inspired both  of  us to make things our own  even while trying to recreate art pieces we love. He has many images i find disturbing....lol...while blake loves every weird thing he does. I took more enjoyment  in the way he spoke and didn't lose interest even once, especially when he got to the part about writing books and what movies he has painted for. :)

 

I'm not the type of person to attend things like this, but after all the ideas and inspiration i got from it i think i'm going to take every chance i get.
