my girls.

i have a whole ton to say about these little girls.

i've missed out on writing so much about scouts first year although i feel so much more involved then with river. (where i felt a little bit more of an observer, studying her from an outside perspective) 

i think its partly because i have a much more evolved "mom brain".

so lets start with river. 

wow this little girl has grown! 

river loves loves spongebob and adventure time!

she is quite the little artist! 

a larger then life imagination, and even a couple of imaginary friends including her favorite jula. 

who is very very important in our daily routines. 

her binkis are the biggest struggle... ever...EVER. 

but on the other hand, she is awesome about going to the bathroom, changing her clothes, puting on shoes and even helping me out around the house. 

her speech is still a little hard for others to understand, we are always getting comments on it. (it always makes me feel so bad cause she knows what they are saying when they say she speaks other languages and things).  but we understand so i guess thats all that matters :) 

recently she has told us she wants to be a doctor and a coffee creamer! (a.k.a. barista for starbucks) cutest thing ever. 

i could go on and on about all her quirky attributes!

but i'll go on about scout. 

scout is such a smart little being! 

she has learned everything so quickly and by herself. 

no help at all! she has drank from straws since she was only a couple months old. 

held her head up since she was born.

walked for a couple weeks now. 

yells out words now and then that just surprise the hell out of us cause we aren't expecting them and they are so clear. 

she even yells the alphabet at super why! 

which is her most favorite thing in the whole world. she is obsessed with wyatt, its really so adorable. 

for the longest time now she just loves finn's "puncha yo buns" song from adventure time, she dances and gets worked up every time she hears it! 

this little girl has me wrapped around her finger her personality is so dang adorable! 

my little sunbeam, who is soft and squishy like butta' cream! 

she is turning a year in a little less then a month....holy...cow...fastest year ever!

a geat day with the family!

breakfast: (cupcake chic) lemon blueberry cupcake, iced carmel mocha

cleaned the house. 

self expression time. 

happy husband p90x time.

sleepy baby.

finished overdue projects! 

made basil pesto pasta, with mozzarella crescents. 

worked out for an hour and a half. 

planned photo-shoots.

blogged and pinned.

now its time to watch full metal alchemist and start cutting out my new projects.

we are getting our family pictures done this summer! 

its a yearly tradition :)

this year we are pushing it back a few months so scout can sit up, blake can finish p90x and i can get back to my pre-pregnancy weight! 

i'm so close, i have the hardest 20 pounds to lose now...then i can fit back into my beloved size 3 and my cute cute XS skirts....i pretty much miss that more then anything :) 

115 pounds here i come!!!

i'm so so terrible at blogging these days...and keeping in contact....with everyone and anyone.

here we go again blogger!

blake turned in his portfolio to be an animator this semester and got into the diablo 3 beta. basically my boy is happier then ever. 

river is a chatter box, starts dance class in a month and can recognize and name all the songs she listens too. 

scout is so chunky!!! this girl never wants to stop eating. even her rolls have rolls. but she is way ahead of the game, the smartest little four month old i've ever seen. 

i've got far far to many craft projects on hand. way to many books to read. a story to finish writing. ideas to create and friends to keep up with...i'm overwhelmed just thinking about everything. 

all i can say is i love me life. and everyone in it. 

future goals...

i've taken hair school as a very loong journey of discovery...

from who i once thought i was...to who i actually am..

i'm very spiritual...

i'm very creative...

i'm full of passion...

i love to read...

i love to sew...

i love to dream...

 i love to be surrounded in beauty and color...

i love my blake 

and i love my girls...

my one big goal in life is to own my dream home...

to be that blogging/etsy-selling mother who creates beauty and an imaginative place for my daughters  to grow up in..

to be that other half to my husband, to make him proud every day that he chose me....

i could care less about a career...expensive clothes....and trying to impress others...

i know who i am, and i know where i'm going!

thank you hair school, you've changed my life..

(and not in the way you were supposed too haha)

the ending of a chapter...

i have 150 hours left in hair school and i'm sooo done. 

so excited to start my new chapter in life, with my main focus being there for my companion and children not school. i've learned so much about myself in the last year and a half, i've also met the most true/beautiful girls in the world! my real friends, like ones i've never had before. 

i've also found out who i am and my true calling... and what my calling IS NOT....

hair? yep...i hate hair... and i don't like the industry either....

(maybe i'm just a little burnt out?) 

but my true calling is people, psychology... i've ALWAYS known that i just understand it. 

it just comes natural but i've never noticed that i truly love looking inside of people and seeing what makes them tick. its my passion! 

i'm so excited to pay off this loan and get right back into school :) 

me and blake have never ever been this close before. 

i'm in love with this boy... and not like any other love before...

he picks me up and swings me, he kisses me with all his heart and i can just see it in his eyes. 

i can't wait to be his wife. 

River and I have reached a whole new level of bonding between mother and daughter! 

she is amazing, she knows her colors, counting and picking up on the alphabet so fast! 

she is so sweet and sensitive, she picks up on everyones emotions. its so cute because she just cares SO much about others, especially Scout. dancing is her favorite thing! she loves to pretend she is a ballerina! 

Scout, is our "sister baby" as she has been dubbed by River. 

is SO vocal and she just coo's like crazy! 

she's been able to hold up her head since she was born! 

she smiles and giggles, i just love her smile! i cuddle this girl every chance i get...boy is she spoiled and  knows what she wants!! 

my life has never been better, we love our new home, i love my friends soo much and i just couldn't be any more grateful for all that i've got :)  my old life is over, this is my new stage in life i CANNOT begin to explain all that i want to do and experience. 

life is amazing.

19 inches 

exactly 7 lbs.

changes.

we found out we have to move, last friday. 

we found out blake may have a new position at work, saturday. 

and we just signed a contract for a new place to live, today.... pheeeew.... 

we are going to have to save every penny for the next couple months, finding a new place drains your saving.... 

i'm trying so hard to stay positive! its really tough with christmas coming and knowing we won't be able to do much for anyone. especially with the new baby coming and being so busy cleaning/packing/moving. 

i just have to put my faith in the universe and know everything happens for a reason and we'll be back on our feet again soon!  

its thanksgiving....

and i'm SOO thankful for this little girl.
