and this is me junior year before i lost all the weight.

embarrassing for me...yes...but its who i was.

70 pounds lighter, and 4 years later i can look back on this picture and realize why i work so hard to maintain my health.

My Chemical Romance is all my favorite memory's and there spunky/creative/imaginative style is what i am in a nut shell.

Nirvana is my other side. they are my crude, raw, aggro, grunge side that i love. 

I've gone through a lot of musical phases in my life... but these are the two bands that stuck with me for years and years and years.

like whoa.....

I've been going to school for almost two months and have had ups and downs with

being motivated but for the most part i feel like this experience is making me a

better person, more appreciative of what i have. 

also to be more humble.

i feel like nothing matters more then happiness, for my family, friends and myself. not to stress the little things and take everything for what it is and make it the best it can be :)

i feel like i have become more spiritual too. i have decided to start going to church with river! i think it would be a wonderful thing for her to learn principles, morals, plus the stability and hope of a faith.

we are just waiting for the church to be finished, its the new evangelical church that will be in orem. i have no preference really in christian churches but my little sister has ties to this one and i feel like its where me and river will start.

i also feel like being apart from river for school has made us closer.

absence makes the heart grow founder.

this is something i strongly stand by.

i love my daughter more then anything and not until just recently do i feel like we are truly tied together with that special mama/baby bond.

Blake and I's relationship has also just gotten stronger, and more understanding.

I'm a very very lucky person. I'm so grateful for all that i have.

so this is probably going to be a pretty long post about lots of randoms things.

but bringing things up to date and just blogging cause i'm bored and wide awake.

since starting school in the end of September i have become so much more hopeful 

about the future and feeling much better about myself. I feel like i have some me time again, and i'm so lucky to have a boyfriend/babydaddy who supports me while i go to school. seriously blake is the most amazing person i've ever met. 

but the things i've learned so far: men's shaves, up-do's, curling, finger waves, pin curls, braiding, cornrows, perimeter cutting, roller sets, shampooing, massaging, pedicures, manicures, waxing, tinting eyelashes/eyebrows, and probably some things I'm forgetting.

i've also made a few new friends, which feels awesome to have social interaction again!! not to mention i love all the students in my class and my teacher :)

i finally found the perfect jack-o-lantern for my tattoo! I'm so excited!

River is also 16 months now soon will be 17 months. i don't have any super cute pictures sadly but she is saying so much more now! like asking where did it go? it seemed like it only took one week for her to start saying new words non stop. like oh really? and oh no! while covering her mouth cause she knows she has done something wrong lol. 

she has 12 teeth all together, those molars make her one onry freaking pooh.

she also hates eating :( we can't seem to find anything she wants to eat these days.

she is also going through a chipmunk phase. SHE LOVES THEM. we even bought their songs on itunes and she knows the songs from just the first couple seconds. 

she spins and spins in circles dancing its hilarious.

these are river's stocking stuffers for Christmas. so excited to give them to her!!

tid bits.

mmm, i feel more busy lately because i've finally started to fill my time with more then tv shows.

I read the host in 3 days, i loved it. i like Stephanie Meyers descriptions which is why i listen to the twilight series audio books so much. but the host is sooo much better because the plot is actually a good one haha.

after watching Coraline so much i've decided to read the book, i'm so stoked i just got it today :)

it was even better when i found out the author also wrote Stardust.

I've also been working on getting rivers toddler bed ready. including making her a quilt :)

before blake started school again. we found a chance to go to lagoon which was one of the funnest days we've ever had together (much much better then last years lagoon trip lol)

we also got rivers halloween costume. which is special for Blake and I. when we were dating we found the costume on one of our first dates and planned to dress our first baby as a peanut. so here she is.

Also. I have 20 days until i start school :D yay for taylor andrews!!

River at 15 months.

River is starting her terrible two's early.

she is a handful and a half.

she has finally started to like some little girl shows which is nice i get so tired of the same 4 movies.

we watch the princess and the frog, and coraline.

(i'm so in love with coraline i'm so happy she likes it too.)

she has learned to blow and whistle this month. 

she has finally started to give me endless hugs and kisses!

she also has started to say alot more words.

including out. which we always have to do...go outside. 

i was looking at all the pictures we took of her at the hospital when she was born.

i can't believe how much different she looks compared to when she was brand new!

14 months.

River just turned 14 months

this month she finally calls me Meema and Blake is Beke.

my sisters have names too, Meags is May May and Jessie Finally graduated from Baby to Jitty.

she is even funnier now then she was even a week ago. she will be a class clown for sure.

She says thank you ALL the time its her favorite thing to say.

she feeds and shares everything even if its licking her fingers and shoving it into your mouth 

with her rendition of the word "num num"

she recently stuck her feet up on the table, with her chicken from "umba" (grandma) and put the chicken between her toes feeding them just like she feeds us. best memory ever.

her father and her grandpa are golf lovers, therefore its there goal to get river into golfing. 

this month she has learned to hit golf balls with her baby clubs they gave her.

we may have a professional female golfer on our hands.

her climbing skills have excelled! no joke! nothing stops her.

she gets that from me too. 

any obstacle we put up for her she finds a way to pull her self up or climb over. its the hardest thing so far!

our child is unattainable. 

(this is the first time she has just given up and fallen asleep on the floor)

(she has learned to climb up and hit our TV with her blocks. its such a bad thing for our tv :'(... )

erg with all these new little babys and soon to be babys....

i'm getting baby hungry....

its to bad i have 2 years of school ahead of me.

plus blake just changed his major and degree.

he is going for a bachelors in gaming and animation...

thats FOUR more years of schooling booo.

but a big woot for Pixar scouts going to UVU and blakes dream job with blizzard.

river is going to be so old when we have our next one.
